1. Have you (spouse) ever considered joining the military and what do you think of dual military couples? submitted by Project Army Wife
I was thinking about joining the Coast Guard before I met the Marine. Once I married him, it never crossed my mind again. My sister and her husband were dual military and it didn't work out well. There's no one to raise their children when they're both deployed or out in the field, etc. It's hard on both couples, but can be done...

2. What is your idea of a perfect Sunday afternoon? submitted by A Few of My Favorite Things
Sunday afternoons tend to be simply amazing around here. We attend church in the morning and go out for dinner since I refuse to cook on Sundays. Afterwards we check out a couple things at some local stores, never really purchasing anything but dreaming I guess and we head off to the movie theater or come home to snuggle and watch a movie. That's perfect for us. Sometimes we'll head out to actually do something like hiking, walk around the river, etc but overall, lunch and movies is our normal routine.
3. What do you usually do for the 4th of July holiday?  submitted by Anchor’s Away
When we were in NC, we'd go to the family picnic at the church because I was usually volunteering for recreational things. Then we'd all sit and wait for the fireworks shows that you could see from the church. In AZ, we'd go down to the river to watch all the fireworks shows, Yuma, Winterhaven, Ca, etc. In other places, I was working; always working even though my husband was the one in the military. Oy.
4. If they could make an Olympic event JUST for you that you know you’d medal in, what would it be? submitted by Pants are Confusing
I would say extreme randomness because I can be extreme random and change topics based on what my brain just popped into my head or how something relates in my head better than the current topic at hand. It drives my friends nutso at times when they're trying to have a serious conversation.

5.  What have you been doing to get yourself bathing suit ready for the summer? submitted by Not Just an Army Wife

Since moving, nothing but unpacking, mowing the yard, etc. However it's much cooler here than Yuma by about 30 degrees that I don't feel the need to go swimming. I am working out today, though. More Jillian Michaels Ripped in Thirty and Six week Six pack.
