Flame On.

Friday, time for some fun faves right now... Captain America : Civil War is out on Amazon. That alone makes this day absolutely GREAT! There's something about these Marvel movies that keep me watching and watching. I suppose it's the Comic Book stories from childhood, but I've still never read Comic Books, but I have heard of these characters for YEARS and now, can see them coming to life in EPIC proportions. FLAMES. It is official, I am starting my Master's Degree program in October. Outdoor Adventure Sport Certificate followed by Sport Management Certificate and finally, a dual Masters Degree in BOTH Sports Management and Outdoor Adventure Sport. Broccoli Cheese Soup

Broccoli Cheddar Soup in the Crock Pot 5 cups chopped broccoli 6 cups vegetable broth 3 large shredded carrots 1 diced onion 1 clove diced garlic 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1 1/2 cup skim milk 4Tablespoons butter 3 Cups EXTRA sharp cheddar cheese blend salt, pepper to taste In crock pot on high add onion, garlic, butter, nutmeg. Stir to melt butter and brown onions and garlic. Adjust temperature to low or high and add in vegetable broth, milk, broccoli, carrots, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours or low for 4 hours. Add in cheddar cheese. Use immersion blender to chop down most of the broccoli into smaller pieces, if preferred. Cook additional 30 minutes on high. Smells like a Dude.

Oh, politics. You're a tricky one. We're faced with praying for our leaders or praying for our leaders? Whoops. How can THAT be such a bad thing. I'm not going to rant and rave over President Obama gaining another four years as President of The United States. *in the Marine's research most Presidents ultimately DO get two terms before the boot* So, we're continuing our Nation's great History with doing what we've always done. The US will pick itself up by it's bootstraps and move forward into what ever policies those folks in Washington deem necessary. Most * Americans had their voices heard last night/yesterday. I voted. The Marine voted. And today is a new day. A new day to Worship our God, to give THANKS for the chance to live in America, and to have rights to vote regardless of gender, position, religion, ethnic background. And because yall need to laugh if you've spent any time on Facebook or watching the news...I smell like a MAN. Yep
