How do you show it?

It's been a week of Giving and a week of Thanks. How have you celebrated the season?

Day one: Compassion Christmas Cards to unsponsored Children, Donation to Compassion's Christmas Program so each child will receive a gift.

Day two: decided to share my percussion talents with the Worship team. I am now an official member, not paralyzed by fear.

Day three: Surcie Box to the Bestie (surprise box filled with things she will looove)

Day four: Letter of Encouragement to my Mother-in-Law as well as invite to Thanksgiving Dinner.

Day five: Reluctantly let the Marine galavant across Indy in search of his treasures before my own NEEDS of finding a dress for the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. We celebrated with Boston Market dinner.

Day six: Purchased JJ Heller concert tickets as all proceeds go to Haiti Northwest Christian Mission

Day seven: My niece finally received her Birthday present in the mail and she texted me a THANK YOU. She dove head first into a book I wasn't sure her momma would allow her to read (The Story by Max Lucado!) God works miracles sometimes!

Upcoming this week: we have cookies to bake, friends to encourage, neighbors to bid farewell too (surprise move for them),  a mail lady that needs some cheering on, Marine's 236th Birthday to celebrate, Veteran's Day Thank You's, and a Birthday Ball to celebrate.

Awesome list of giving to my fellow Hoosier blogger! We moved from Indy four years ago to West Lafayette.

I love how you listed each day - what a great idea and wonderful accountability.

Great to "meet" you here!

What a great week that was. Sometimes it's the simple things that make all the difference!
