Laynie Wynn has captured THOUSANDS of hearts across the United States.
She is one of the Marine's Birthday babies.
our God-Daughter.
and Perfect.
{October 201}It's been MONTHS since I've seen our God-Daughter, Miss Laynie Wynn.
She's learned SO much in this short amount of time and overcoming those silly doctors' "guesses" about her.
Laynie is special. She was born with achondroplasia meaning a form of dwarfism. She's pocket-sized perfection if you ask me. Laynie is truly a miracle and present from God for her parents, family, friends, and most of all Us, as her GodParents. I know God has something AMAZING for her life and will use her in ways that we've never even thought of for her.
Laynie's overcome surgery, therapy sessions, drama fits (well, she's working on those still..hehe), sleep studies, and many doctor visits and pulls out of them all with boundless smiles for everyone. We will be learning a lot from her, I can tell.
This is her latest picture we received...as we Skype now and we NEED to visit so the Marine can finally meet her!
Momma's a Clemson junkie haha. |
On January 29th, they're coming to visit so expect LOADS of new pictures, adventures, and more. PLUS, the pic where the MARINE meets his God-Daughter for the first time <3
April 30, 2011.
Slacking on the updating, but that's how I roll.
The Morton family visited back in Jan/Feb for my 30th birthday. The Marine finally got to meet his God-Daughter and he was amazed. He's so very good with children, it's adorable. We all had a very good visit and wished they could have stayed longer (and never leave of course :D). There was some friend jealousy going on while they were here, but I don't like confrontation soo..yeah..onto pictures

The third milestone was the fact that she crawled a lot while here, moreso than she's done in the past. She's progressing so well and is truly amazing and quite adorable. Laynie's growing up on us all.
She also now has a turtle shell. (back brace) that she gets to wear. Apparently, she's also quite the percussionist with a steady beat on her turtle shell. hehe.
She's just a learning machine these days. I'm truly amazed by her and wish I could spend more time with her cause she's AWESOME just like her parents.
Update: September 2011:
Update September 2011 Miss Laynie Wynn has graduated from Occupational Therapy. That is HUGE, folks. YAY Laynie.
She's learning all sorts of new things like hiding PUFFS in her seat, talking to anything/anyone who will listen, making faces in the mirror and laughing at herself.
Oh, and she will talk to me on the phone, too. She texts me all the time and gets mad when she can't cuz her mommy wants to text me. Oh goodness I love her to pieces.
