Everyone needs Compassion.

I helped at a Compassion Event last night! We got NINE children sponsored. It was amazing. I also saw GREATER VISION in concert. Which I suppose IF I had to hear Southern Gospel music, I would want it to be them. They're amazing at what they do, I just wish they had a live band with them as well..not pre-recorded stuff.  Oh well, I got to meet new people and learn more about Compassion.  It's a great tool to help stop the cycles of poverty.  Our little sponsored boy lives in Kenya, in an AIDS infected area.  He's such an amazing guy, and we need to write to him today!

Today is actually Virtual Child Sponsorship Letter Writing Night. The second Friday in each month Compassion hosts virtually a letter writing night. You can actually write letters to the sponsored children right from e-mail and it's translated and sent to them.  How EASY and yet such a blessing is that? SO VERY easy and yet, it brightens their day like no other.

Did you know that 82 percent of Compassions' sponsor money goes STRAIGHT to the child? The family is blessed as their child gets clothes, food, water, school supplies, Church supplies and a relationship WITH a church family?!! Amazing. Compassion has vowed to never drop below the 80% value, either. So that is truly saying something even in these tough economic times. We're blessed so that we may bless <3

Can you say No?
