ah.

This has been my life this week. NEW stuff in kitchen, new stuff in breakfast nook, new new new. SO, it's been like a war zone in the house between dust and I. achoo and tissues and me are bffs.

Also, I stepped on a nail yesterday. It was only the HEAD side, but man oh man it hurt. It was right smack in the middle of our stairs, hanging out. Who knows where or how it came out like that, but after I clomped down all my weight on it and scream "OH MY GOUDA!", the Marine was nice enough to nail it back down into the stair tred from whence it came. But today, there's a nice purdy bruise on the bottom of my foot pad; right where I land when walking and running. *sigh*
Has anyone else ever done this sort of thing or is it just my "luck"?

Spring has finally arrived, too. And we haven't even started our transplants yet. They're still in seed packets! Oy. They'll be the second round of plants to enter into the garden this year. But I MUST have Boxcar Willie tomatoes. Have y'all ever had these? deliciousness cannot even describe them. They're the perfect tomato. Juicy, not too many fleshy pulp/seeds, and perfect in every dish I've tried; spaghetti sauce, salsa, tomatillo sauce, salsa verde, and more. I can't wait for the garden season.

And my beloved baseball season has returned. YES! No one else gets as excited as I do over baseball.  But, it's my sport. I love it more than football, hockey, and tennis. It's fantastic. It's been said to be a "smart" person's game because of all the rules associated with it. It's not just a hit the ball and run kinda sport...well maybe in t-ball it is. But I've played softball for MANY years, and grew up watching the TRIBE play, then became a BRAVES fan. And now, BOSOX fan and Indianapolis Indians (minor league for Pirates). Which, is always interesting because all the colors for the teams are Red, white, blue. And opening day is tomorrow for the Indians, and I'll be in a leadership meeting for church. But, it's okay because we have scored some free tickets for later in the month and I cannot wait. Someday I'll actually get to attend opening day, though. Maybe next year! Have y'all ever attended opening day ceremonies for any sporting event? I have yet to do it, and I think it's going to possibly be put onto my bucket list. I've attend spring training events, pre-season games and the like, but never OPENING day. Boo.

I have stepped on a nail like that and it hurts so bad! I hope the bruise goes away quickly.
